Head of Environmental Consultancy

Dr. Thomas is responsible for environmental consultancy services in DNAS. To this role, Dr. Thomas brings his strong background of over 20 years experience in environmental research, training and consultancy in Singapore and Vietnam. He is extensively experienced in mainstreaming environmental and social safeguard in various sectors of energy, urban, rural development, transport, water and sanitation, forestry and climate change … into projects funded by Government and various bilateral and multilateral agencies (WB, ADB...). Especially, with profound experiences with international best practice, he provides a wide range of environmental due diligence (EDD) services across private equity and corporate mergers & acquisition (M&A).

In relation with helping clients to address sustainability challenges, he supports private equity investors in integrating environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) into their investment value chains, by identifying ESG value drivers in due diligence and value creation planning, as well as preparing an ESG strategy. Additionally, he advises social enterprises, companies and investors under the impact investing landscape on their journeys toward sustainable business models that successfully create sustainable value and growth. With expansion of DNAS advisory services, he also extends his overall managing liabilities in providing consultancy in carbon finance and carbon result based payment projects relating to forestry, Agriculture, Forestry and Other Land Uses (AFOLU) and supporting throughout registration process of certification of emission reduction(CERs).
