His practice areas focus on labour & employment, commerce, foreign investment and M&A. Ban also acts as a litigation lawyer for clients with respect to civil, commercial and labor disputes at the courts and arbitration bodies. Prior to joining DNAS, Ban worked as senior associate at LuatViet, one of young and successful law firms in Vietnam.

- Advising Boysen International Incorporation in market entry and setting up a Joint Venture Company for distribution of paint products in Vietnam.
- Advising Compal Electronic Co., Ltd in construction issues relating to its factory at Vinh Phuc province, Vietnam.
- Advising Hanoi Department of Information and Communication in bidding issues in connection with Project for Developing Informational Technology and Communication sponsored by World Bank.
- Advising and representing Huu Nghi High Quality Confectionary Joint Stock Company in settling insurance claim.
- Advising and representing ANZ in a number of debt restructures and alternative arrangements.
